Manchester & Cheshire Construction is to sponsor the prize for excellence at the 2016 Salford Business Awards.
The company won the accolade at the 2015 awards along with the best employer category.
Now Manchester & Cheshire is giving something back to the awards through its sponsorship agreement.
The 2016 awards will be presented at a gala dinner at the AJ Bell Stadium, the home of Sale Sharks and Salford Red Devils RLFC.
A representative from Manchester & Cheshire will be on the awards judging panel and will present the honour at the prestigious event, which is attracting increasing numbers of entrants.
The excellence award focuses on businesses that ensure excellence is at the forefront of the entire organisation, encompassing management, processes, feedback monitoring and customer service.
Entrants have to show the highest standards of leadership, planning, analysis, people management and customer-led focus, along with high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business, strong company values and the provision of stimulating and supportive workplaces.
David Lowe, managing director of Manchester & Cheshire, said:
‘With our roots firmly in Salford even though we operate all over the north west, we are delighted to be supporting the 2016 Salford Business Awards by sponsoring the excellence category.’
‘Having collected two awards in 2015, we know how much it means to win, and we are looking forward to being part of the whole process once it gets under way again.’
‘With nearly 9,000 businesses operating in Salford and great things happening in the city, the awards will recognise outstanding companies and individuals, and we are very excited to be involved as a sponsor.’
