A team of runners from Manchester and Cheshire Construction took on the Simply Health Great Manchester 10k Run and raised over £1,600 for our Charity of the Year, MIND.
The team included Andy Duncan, Alex Wilson, Hal Birtles, Gary Glendenning, Joana Mateus, Harrison Moulton, Chris Hastie and Gaynor Smith.
The 10k route began in the city centre then continued to Salford Quays before finishing back in the city centre. There was a great turn out for the event with members of the public cheering our runners on, including our Managing Director Dave Lowe who travelled down to show his support.
The team managed to raise a massive £1,608 for MIND Charity. We would like to say a big thank you to all that donated and shared our ‘Just Giving’ page to raise money for such an amazing cause.
Also, a special mention to our very own Karl McDonald (Contract Manager) who completed the Simply Health Great Manchester Half-Marathon in a blistering time of 01:41:27!
