Two directors from Manchester & Cheshire Construction will be part of Manchester’s biggest-ever contingent at MIPIM next month.
Managing director David Lowe and development director Michael Purcell will represent the company at the world’s premier property event, which will be staged in Cannes in the south of France from March 14-17.
MIPIM brings together the most influential players from all international property sectors for networking, learning and transactions through conferences, dedicated exhibition zones and premium events.
More than 100 organisations will this year represent Manchester, the largest contingent since the city region began exhibiting at MIPIM in 2000.
Manchester at MIPIM is a private sector-focused partnership, strategically led by Manchester city council and co-ordinated by Marketing Manchester, to promote the city region as a competitive and attractive place in which to live, work and invest.
This year, Manchester will occupy a pavilion alongside the Palais des Festivals on the Promenade de la Croisette, alongside cities including London, Paris, and St Petersburg.
It will be Manchester’s largest-ever facility and will feature event and exhibition space for presentations, along with the Manchester Café.
Michael said:
‘Being part of the Manchester delegation gives us a great opportunity to support the city region, to network and from a development perspective to meet international groups looking to invest.’
‘It will also be a great learning exercise, as we will be able to see what other developers are doing, to see the latest designs and to find out more about the innovation in our sector, from new construction materials to the latest IT.’
‘We are very excited and thrilled to be part of the Manchester at MIPIM partnership.’
