Youngsters showed their artistic skills in a competition to draw Lancaster Castle.
MC Construction teamed up with the Duchy of Lancaster to organise the competition as a way of giving back to the community during our involvement in a restoration scheme at the famous landmark.
More than a dozen vibrant pictures were submitted by members of Lancaster Boys and Girls Club and Dallas Road Kids Club, two local organisations.
Representatives from the Duchy of Lancaster judged the entries and MC Construction managing director David Lowe and Gary Shea, our Lancaster Castle site manager, presented prizes to three excited winners.
They all received certificates, goody bags and gift vouchers.
All of the drawings are now on display in the castle café and on our site.
