MC Construction has signed the Armed Forces Covenant in a show of support for men and women who are serving, as well as veterans, and their families.
Managing director David Lowe signed the covenant on behalf of the company.
The covenant states:
‘We the undersigned, commit to honour the Armed Forces Covenant and support the Armed Forces Community. We recognise the value Serving Personnel, both Regular and Reservists, Veterans and military families contribute to our business and our country.’
By signing the covenant, MC Construction pledges to promote itself as an armed forces-friendly organisation, to support the employment of veterans young and old, spouses and partners, and to actively participate in Armed Forces Day.
The company is a long-standing supporter of Broughton House, the Salford home for ex-servicemen and women.
David said:
‘Broughton House does great work and we are delighted to sign the covenant to further demonstrate our support for our armed forces personnel, who put their lives on the line to protect our country and our freedom.’
